I own one Liz Taylor film. The brilliant and brutal marathon of a movie "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf." It's mean and funny and not the kind you can recommend to just anyone, but it is pinnacle Liz. The nesty professor's house is a bibliophiles dream, but the scenes ensure that you can never feel at home. I'll pull it out again as my small tribute to the fascinating legend now gone.
For an interesting and informed discussion of Elizabeth Taylor's role as Martha in this film see Michael Herbertson's blog Signature Roles for his current post.
Ciao! for now!
